Happy New Year, Sydney, Australia, World.
Another year passes, and what a spectacular way to welcome in 2009. I always love seeing the fireworks in Sydney, and am lucky enough this year to catch a glimpse (albeit through trees and bushes) of the harbour fireworks display from the back of my unit.
Actually, this is probably the first year i haven't joined the crowds at the waterfront, jockeying for a vantage point, restrictions on glass and alcohol..etc. Its usually a yearly tradition.
Hope the hangovers pass quickly for all, and the New Year is prosperous for everyone, especially taking into account the shaky economic times, present and ahead.
