Matching Adsense Ads to your Websites colours

For those using Google Adsense on your sites, its important to 'try' and match colours of Adsense ads where possible to the colours and designs used on our sites.

I read countless articles on this subject. Recently i've found great results using white text on a coloured background - you get a really good contrast effect. Of course, you only get a great affect when you use white text on dark backgrounds.

Anyway, for those of you that are interested and looking for a way to match colours on your site to your Adsense colours/colour pallettes i've been using a tool called Colorpic. You might also gain some benefit from this software, there are heaps of tools out there - but this one gets it right and its simple.

And best of all, Its free, and really easy to use. You just open the program simultaneously with the web-site you want to grab colours from, then press Ctrl + G to grab the colour. It will give you the exact six-digit hexadecimal number corresponding to that colour.

Then you simply head over to Adsense, and manage your colour pallettes, type the number in and voila, you get an exact match. I always found it hard matching ads to Whypark template colours. Often you can get close, but not exact. This tool is great, and solves this problem.
