Who out there is after the quick buck through Adsense...who isn't i hear you say. One of the email lists i subscribe to (there are so many its hard to keep track of) is a newsletter alert by Garry Conn. Garry is an intenet marketer/entrepreneur/blogger who specialises in Adsense and Niche marketing.
Anyway, his most recent posts contained offers of established sites for sale (2 to be exact). These are established niche sites (often only one page in some cases) which apparently require little or none ongoing site maintenance.
Garry was offering these sites for sale at Sitepoint. They both sold within a matter of minutes and hours for low 4 figures (xxxx).
Now the thing that caught my eye, was the consistent Adsense earnings these sites are reported to be earning. One of these sites was making an average of $200/mth (and a little more with the second site). Pretty damn good. Of course there are better Adsense performing sites out there, but the majority are certainly much much worse.
You'd have to be careful and be sure you're purchasing from a reputable individual, but i think this guy has been around for a while and would want to protect his image and reputation. It would be terrible to purchase one of these sites, and find the earnings are not lasting, and drop off over a few weeks or months.
Still as an investment, if it works, i think its a great idea. For those who knows what goes into making consistent money from Adsense. A lot of effort writing content, designing sites and pages, building links, gaining positions in SERPS (Search Engines Results Pages).
To buy someone elses hardwork, and enjoy the profits would be nice - everyone wins - buyer and seller. Interesting stuff isn't it.
I wonder how people sort the good sites from the bad. Obviously proof of earnings, site stats can be fudged, though probably not to the trained eye...i would guess that Sitepoint keeps an eye on the listings on their site to keep things legitimate and stop people from being burnt.
What are your thoughts on buying and selling ready made, established niche sites?
Cheers
Don

Making money from Adssense is not easy your blog or website is easy to setup but then comes the hard part. You have to know somewhat about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or have money to advertise or pay professionals. I suggest join PTC sites and earn with ease. This blog is comprehensive on the subject.
